Newsworthy events relating to the compositions of Jeffrey Ryan

Jeffrey Ryan's The Linearity of Light ON TOUR! The Linearity of Light will be performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, led by music director Bramwell Tovey, as part of the VSO's tour of China and Korea in October, 2008, and its Ontario/Quebec tour in May, 2009. Ryan has been named as the VSO's Composer Laureate for the 2008/09 season and will accompany the orchestra on tour.

JUNO NOMINATION! February 5, 2008: Quantum Mechanics, the title track from the Centrediscs CD Quantum Mechanics: Music of Jeffrey Ryan, has been nominated for a 2008 JUNO award for Classical Composition of the Year. Winners will be announced April 5, 2008, in Calgary. This is Ryan's second JUNO nomination, following the nomination of Pangaea for Best Classical Composition in 2005.
